I want you to feel relaxed and comfortable every time you visit The Woodway, so I’ve outlined some frequently asked questions which I hope will make your visit more enjoyable.

Do I have to make an appointment?
Yes, walk-in appointments are not possible. I recommend booking your service a week or two in advance, however, same day appointments may be available. Please call 613-422-9435 or e-mail heather@woodwayesthetics.com. to arrange an appointment. Please, allow 24 hours for e-mail appointment confirmation.

What should I wear?
Wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Guests who will be enjoying multiple services are provided with a robe and slippers. (The slippers are yours to keep.) During body services, appropriate draping practices are always observed for your privacy and comfort.

Is tipping appropriate?
At The Woodway there is no need to tip. The price you see, plus applicable taxes, is the price you pay.

How early should I arrive?
To enjoy the full value of your spa experience, I suggest you arrive 15 minutes prior to your first appointment to allow time for filling out necessary paperwork. Arriving late will shorten the precious time of your spa treatment. Remember, regardless of how late you start, your treatment will end on time, so that my next guest isn’t delayed. If you’re early for your appointment, you can relax in the comfortable lobby.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
Please contact me at least 24 hours in advance, 48 hours for spa packages, so that I can book another client during that time.

Can you accommodate groups of people?
Sorry, no. The Woodway is designed to serve one guest at a time. This ensures high quality, personal service. However, if during your service you wish to visit with a friend, please do.

Why is it necessary to fill out a confidential health questionnaire?
Some esthetic services are not appropriate for certain individuals. For example, persons who are taking prescription acne medication, such as Accutane, should not have waxing services. A health questionnaire enables me to properly advise you.  

Are children welcome?
Because of the nature of esthetic equipment, it isn’t safe for small children to accompany you to appointments. Children under 16 require parental consent for all services.

Where we are

Located at 2002 Woodway Avenue, Beacon Hill North in east Ottawa, a short walk from the 124 and 24 bus stop on Quincy Street. Off-street parking available. (Click for map)

Returns

There are no refunds for services. Unopened merchandise, with receipt, can be returned within 10 days for an in-house credit.

On-line Booking and Reservations

Reservations are recommended, but same day appointments may be available. Please contact heather@woodwayesthetics.com or call 613-422-9435. Please, allow 24 hours for e-mail appointment confirmation.

Cancellations

If you can’t make it to your appointment, please provide 24 hours notice, 48 hours for spa packages. Cancellations not given within 24 hours of scheduled appointments will be charged 50% of the full service fee. Missed appointments will be charged the full service fee.

Payment Methods

The Woodway accepts cash, Interac, VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
